Know Your Rights

Your job may have ended, but your rights have not.
Whether you were terminated, resigned, or left quietly, Saudi labor law protects you. Many employees are unaware they are entitled to compensation. We are here to change that.

Below are your key rights under Saudi Labor Law:

End-of-Service Benefits
If you have worked for more than two years, you are entitled to a lump-sum payment when your job ends , even if you resign. The amount depends on your salary, years of service, and the reason for termination.

Unfair Termination Compensation
If you were terminated without a valid legal reason, you may be entitled to financial compensation. This includes cases covered by Article 77 and other protections against unjust or arbitrary dismissal.

Unpaid Salaries and Benefits
You have the legal right to receive your full wages on time, including any unpaid salary, allowances, commissions, or bonuses. These can all be claimed after termination.

Overtime Pay
If you worked more than 8 hours per day or 48 hours per week, you may be owed overtime pay, especially for work done on weekends or holidays. Overtime must be compensated at 150% of your hourly wage.

Annual Leave and Holiday Pay
Employees are entitled to at least 21 days of paid annual leave per year, increasing to 30 days after 5 years. If you did not take your leave, you may claim its cash value.

Gratuity Delays and Penalties
Employers are required to settle your dues promptly. Delays beyond the legal timeframe may result in additional penalties payable to you.

You don’t need to face this alone.
SNDK helps you assess your rights and claim what you are owed — in partnership with licensed Saudi law firms.
